Description
Turbe is located next to the Karadjoz Bey Mosque. Osman Đikić was initially buried in the harem at Carina, and in 1936 his remains were transferred to the harem next to the Karadjoz Bey Mosque.
Osman Đikić, poet and journalist, born on January 6, 1879 in Mostar, is buried in this renovated open dome on four pillars, in which there is a sarcophagus made of stone, with nothings, with an inscription, designed by the architect Aleksandar Derok. He was educated in Mostar, Constantinople, Belgrade, Vienna. He was the editor of Gajret. He died on March 30, 1912 of tuberculosis.
