Description
One hundred masterpieces were created by eminent artists of modernism (Edgar Degas, Amedeo Modigliani, Henri Matisse, Kees van Dongen, Tamara de Lempicka) in the most important stylistic directions of the first half of the twentieth century (constructivism, geometric abstraction, post-impressionism, cubism, fauvism, futurism and expressionism). These works reflect the collective consciousness of a time, a lifestyle and a historical story that took place mostly in France, but also in the whole of Western and Eastern Europe, Latin America and the United States of America. The constellation of stylistically diverse works of art makes this space a center of creativity and science, but also a place that subtly and unpretentiously takes the visitor to a distant and imaginative world created from exceptional works of art.
