Promotion of Mostar in Istanbul

The Tourist Board of the City of Mostar, in cooperation with the Tourist Board of the Sarajevo Canton, participated in this year's EMITT (East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition) fair in Istanbul.

The fair took place from February 5 to 7, 2026, and brought together tour operators from the UK, Germany, Italy, France, the USA and other countries.

The fair was an opportunity to present the rich and diverse tourist offer of Mostar, so that Turkish tourists, who otherwise belong to a very significant group of visitors and achieve a large number of overnight stays, would be informed about content that had not been presented to them so far.

It is particularly important to highlight the meeting held with TUROB (Hotel Association of Turkey), at which the President of the Association, Mrs. Muberra Eresin, and representatives of TZ GM discussed further intensive forms of cooperation, and support for the introduction of Istanbul-Mostar-Istanbul flights.

A meeting was also held with the TGA (National Tourism Board), which has more than 70,000 members, tour operators. At the meeting, it was agreed to hold a B2B meeting at the TGA premises in Istanbul this year. The meetings would also be covered by TGA Television.
