An opportunity for restaurateurs: TZ Mostar is giving away five registration fees for the Wine School

The Tourist Board of the City of Mostar, in cooperation with the Herzegovina Association, is pleased to announce a special invitation for all restaurateurs from the City of Mostar.

In order to raise the quality of the catering offer and promote the wine culture, we are giving away five (5) registration fees for the first level of the certified "Mostar Wine School".

The invitation is open to all owners and employees of catering establishments from the area of the City of Mostar who regularly pay the tourist membership fee.

The School of Wine in Mostar is the only official and certified wine school in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose diploma, recognized by the state, is entered in the work book. Education is conducted according to the highest international standards under the expert guidance of sommelier Tarik Sadović.

Through five educational cycles, participants will gain knowledge about:
- Basics of wine culture: Proper serving, etiquette and recognition of basic categories of wine.

- World wine regions: Familiarization with varieties and wines from Italy, France, Spain and the methods of production of sparkling wines.
- Food and wine pairing: How to perfectly harmonize the flavors of food with the appropriate wines.

- Autochthonous varieties of Herzegovina: Special emphasis is placed on Herzegovina varieties such as Žilavka, Blatina and Trnjak, their terroir and characteristics.
