Public call for expressions of interest for proposing an entertainment program within the Advent event in Mostar
Based on Article 43 of the Statute of the City of Mostar ("Official Gazette of the City of Mostar", number 4/04 and "Official Gazette of the City of Mostar", number 8/09 and 15/10) and Decision on the organization of Advent in Mostar and New Year's Eve 2026 in the open, number 02-36-12059/25 dated 23.7.2025. year, the Mayor adopts:
PUBLIC INVITATION
for expression of interest in proposing an entertainment program within the Advent event in Mostar
1. The subject of this public call is an expression of interest for entertainment programs that will take place as part of the Advent event in Mostar.
We want to create programs with the participation of citizens, so we invite institutions, associations and individuals to propose programs that will include cultural, artistic, educational, entertainment, animation and similar activities suitable for the widest audience, children and/or adults, and for outdoor performance.
2. Program proposals shall be submitted in free form and must contain the following elements:
– program name
– program holder(s)
- short description and structure of the program
– program cost estimate.
3. All natural and legal persons from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as from abroad, have the right to submit an application by invitation.
4. All received proposals will be evaluated by the Department of Culture of the City of Mostar as the organizer of the Advent entertainment program, and together with event producers will select and support programs according to the following criteria:
– program quality
– interestingness of the program
- inclusiveness of the program with regard to gender/age
– program price
- feasibility of the concept in terms of finance, programming and production
– diversity of offer
- the attractiveness of the content in terms of interest in multiple visits to the event
- representation of special programs
– references and experiences in implementing the same or similar programs
- assessment of the competence of the proponent for the successful implementation of the program
– the program's contribution to the overall pre-holiday image of the city
- the attractiveness of the program in order to increase tourist arrivals at the event
- contribution to the promotion of Advent in Mostar and the tourist offer of the City of Mostar.
5. The deadline for submitting applications and documentation for the public invitation lasts until October 10, 2025. year. The public invitation will be published on the website of the City of Mostar. Information about the publication of the public call will be published in other public newspapers. 6. Program proponents can submit their program applications exclusively in electronic form to the address adventumostaru2025@gmail.com and state "Program proposal - Advent in Mostar" in the subject line.
7. A contract will be concluded with each selected program provider, which will regulate all obligations related to the implementation of the selected program for Advent in Mostar.
