Mostar hosts the 11th Poligon International Literary Festival

From October 1st to 5th, Mostar will host literary events as part of the 11th International Literary Festival Poligon and a gathering dedicated to Predrag Matvejević.

This year's edition of the Polygon festival will be dedicated to literature as a platform in times of global crises and the impact of artificial intelligence on contemporary literature and culture. The program will be held from October 1 to 3 at the Ivo Andrić Book Club, and will bring together authors from Croatia, Great Britain and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The festival will be opened on October 1 at 8 p.m. with a tribute to the poet Andriana Škunča, in which Sanela Kuko from Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate.

On the second day of the festival, October 2 at 8 p.m., Croatian authors Alen Brlek and Ivan Herceg will present themselves to the audience, while the final evening, October 3, is reserved for British author Niall Griffiths. The music program of the festival will be performed by Damir Šodan from Croatia.

After the end of the festival, on October 5 at 6 p.m., the "Predrag Mediteranski" gathering will be held in the Spanish Hall of the Mostar High School, dedicated to the world-renowned Mostar author Predrag Matvejević.

French essayist and friend of Matvejević Thierry Fabre, Suzana Matvejević and Elvedin Nezirović, winner of the Matvejević award, will participate in the meeting.

The program is held under the patronage of the Tourist Board of the City of Mostar.
