The city of Mostar and the Fortuna Tours agency signed an agreement on the sale and promotion of the Mostar PASS tourist card

The City of Mostar and the Fortuna Tours agency signed an agreement today at the City Hall on the sale and promotion of the Mostar PASS tourist card. The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Mostar Mario Kordić and the owner and director of the Fortuna Tours agency, Mili Bijavica.

The signing was attended by the director of the Mostar Tourist Board, Elvira Dilberović, the head of the UNESCO Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Siniša Šešum, and the head of the Mostar City Economic Service, Ivana Marić.

It was emphasized that the introduction of the Mostar PASS card represents a significant step and an important starting point for the sustainable management of tourism in the City of Mostar. The Mostar PASS card project creates positive effects for all residents of Mostar.

The Head of the UNESCO Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Siniša Šešum, emphasized that Mostar, as a World Heritage Site under UNESCO protection, is creating the preconditions for quality tourism management by introducing the Mostar PASS card. He expressed hope that other local communities will recognize this project and implement it in their communities.

The costs of developing the software solution, purchasing cards and POS devices at the entrances were financed by UNESCO, while the costs of maintaining the system are borne by the City of Mostar. The bearer of the project was the Department for the Economy, Communal and Inspection Affairs, the Department for the Economy and the Commission for Mostar PASS-tourist cards, which consists of people from the competent Department and tourism experts, who will be appointed by the mayor.
