Days of open cellars on the Vinska cesta Herzegovina!

After the successful Herzegovina Wine Road Festival, which this summer brought together numerous wine lovers, flavors and experiences - those who appreciate tradition, authenticity and Herzegovinian hospitality - we are now facing a new event that brings even more reasons to socialize and enjoy: the "Open Cellar Days" of the Herzegovina Wine Road.

The Wine Road of Herzegovina is a unique project managed by the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the cities and municipalities of Ljubuški, Čitluk, Mostar, Čapljina, Stolac and Trebinje. The initiative connects wineries, restaurants, specialized bars, family farms and tourist entities within the region, with the aim of joint development and promotion of wine and gastronomy and tourism.

This network of enthusiasts has been promoting Herzegovina for years as a food and wine destination recognized beyond the borders of the region - and the autumn manifestation "Open Cellars Days" is the ideal opportunity to experience all that combination of wine, tradition and hospitality.

During four autumn weekends, from October 24 to November 23, 2025, members of the Wine Road of Herzegovina open their doors to visitors and prepare a rich program filled with wine tastings, cellar and vineyard tours, workshops, themed evenings and musical events - all with the aim of experiencing the authentic Herzegovinian spirit, wine culture and true hospitality.

Every corner of the Wine Route of Herzegovina carries its own story and its own special charm - from Mostar and Čitluk, where imperial wines are produced among stone vineyards, through Ljubuški with its natural beauty, and Čapljina, a city rich in history and wine tradition, to Trebinje, which preserves the spirit of monastic cellars and centuries-old wine culture, and Stolac, which entices with the scent of olives and Mediterranean herbs. Precisely because of this, "Open Cellar Days" are not just an event - they are an invitation to explore, socialize and enjoy everything Herzegovina has to offer.

A detailed program of events and a list of participants will be published on the social networks of Wine Road Herzegovina, where all weekends and events in cities will be announced regularly.

The "Open Cellars Days" event is part of the activities carried out by the Herzegovina Wine Road with the aim of strengthening the tourist offer and promoting wine tourism in the region, and is co-financed by the European Union.
