Mostar hosts the Second International Tambura Music Festival

Mostar will from 13 to 15 July 2026 to host of the second international festival of tambura music, which will be held every evening starting at 8:00 PM to maintain on the plateau in front of of the Croatian House of Duke Stjepan Kosača.

Visitors can expect a three-day music program with performances by tambura orchestras and ensembles from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Canada. The festival will host numerous performers, including the Mostar Tambourine Orchestra, the Croatian Golden Strings from Canada, the Mostar Tambourine Band, the Banja Luka City Tambourine Orchestra, the "Branko Davidović" Music School of Banja Luka, KUD Rudar Glogovac, TD Ferdo Livadić from Samobor, and on the final evening, the famous tambura performer Šima Jovanovac with TS Dukati.
