Description
Spanning the Neretva River, the Old Bridge ("Stari most") is a timeless symbol of Mostar's resilience and cultural heritage. Built in the 16th century during the Ottoman era, this iconic bridge has graceful arches that are beautifully reflected in the river below. Destroyed during the war in Bosnia in 1993, the bridge was carefully reconstructed using traditional methods, which restored its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a favorite sight of Mostar.
