The City of Mostar and the Fortuna Tours Agency signed an agreement on the sale and promotion of the Mostar PASS tourist card

The City of Mostar and the Fortuna Tours Agency signed an agreement on the sale and promotion of the Mostar PASS Tourist Card today in the City Hall. The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Mostar Mario Kordić and the owner and director of the Fortuna Tours Agency Mili Bijavica.

The signing was attended by the Director of the Mostar Tourist Board Elvira Dilberović, the Head of the UNESCO Office in BiH Siniša Šešum, and the Head of the Economy Service of the City of Mostar Ivana Marić.

It was emphasized that the introduction of the Mostar PASS card represents a significant step and an important starting point for sustainable tourism management in the City of Mostar. The Mostar PASS card project creates positive effects for all residents of Mostar.

The Head of the UNESCO Office in BiH Siniša Šešum emphasized that Mostar, as a World Heritage Site under UNESCO protection, is creating the prerequisites for quality tourism management by introducing the Mostar PASS card. He expressed his hope that other local communities will also recognize this project and implement it in their communities.

The costs of developing the software solution, purchasing cards and POS devices at the entrances were financed by UNESCO, while the costs of maintaining the system are borne by the City of Mostar. The project leader was the Department of Economy, Communal and Inspection Affairs, the Service for Economy and the Mostar PASS-Tourist Card Commission, which consists of persons from the relevant Department and tourism experts, to be appointed by the Mayor.
