In this context, on the third day of the Fair, at the panel discussion "Active Mostar for active tourism", three associations were presented that, through their work, have become indispensable actors on the tourist map of Herzegovina: Kinezis Mostar, Climbing Blagaj and HPD Prenj 1933.<\/p>\n
As pointed out, these associations launch initiatives that encourage active spending of time in nature, sports activities and environmental protection, while at the same time offering tourists authentic and unforgettable experiences.<\/p>\n
"For the past three years, Mostar Run Weekend has been the most numerous event of this type in our country. This year we had competitors from 55 countries around the world, more than 50 percent of participants came from outside Bosnia and Herzegovina." When we created the race route itself, we thought about the tourist aspect and since Mostar is a city of bridges, we decided to create a bridge half-marathon and brand ourselves in that direction," said the representative of Kinezis Citizens Association.<\/p>\n
He added that in this way they connected the whole story of active tourism, and that it makes sense because there are currently more than 50 million recreational runners in Europe, and that is one pool towards which they want to promote Mostar and Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n
The climbing society from Blagaj brings together lovers of sport climbing and an adventurous spirit. Since its inception, members of the association have worked intensively on mapping and organizing climbing routes in the vicinity of Blagaj, which is already recognized as one of the most attractive outdoor destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n
"What is specific to Blagaj is that people mostly come for one-day trips and then move on. Climbers stay for a minimum of seven days, up to a month or two. We have become known for our climbing festival that we organize and in which we increasingly involve the local community. "We have participants from 25 countries, and people who return to Blagaj year after year," said Omar Naze\u010di\u0107 on behalf of this association.<\/p>\n
Representatives of the Croatian Mountaineering Society Prenj 1933 from Mostar, one of the oldest and most active mountaineering societies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, also presented themselves to the attendees. This was followed by an interesting panel discussion organized by the City of Mostar on the topic "Life by the River: A New Shine for Buna and Bunica", with the participation of the organizations People in Need and LDA Mostar.<\/p>\n
An interesting presentation and performance will be organized on the next day of the fair. Namely, Friday, April 11, is reserved for the panel "How Art Shapes Mostar", where Mostar artists will share their vision of tourism development through their activities.<\/p>\n
Visitors will have the opportunity to witness the creation of a mural by an artist in front of the Rezon association.<\/p>\n
