Public call for applications for candidates to take the professional exam for the head of a travel agency office has been published

In accordance with the needs and interests of candidates and travel agencies, the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism is issuing a Public Call for candidates to take the professional exam for the head of a travel agency branch for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2025.

Along with the application form for taking the professional exam for travel agency branch manager, which can be downloaded from the website of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, www.fmoit.gov.ba the candidate is obliged to attach the following documentation:

  1. proof that he has at least completed secondary vocational education,
  2. confirmation from an educational institution of active knowledge of one world language,
  3. birth certificate,
  4. proof of payment of the prescribed fee for taking the professional exam.

In the procedure of conducting a professional examination for the head of a travel agency office, the following evidence can be used as evidence according to point 2 of the educational institution's certificate of active knowledge of one world language:

  1. a) certificate from a school or other institution that teaches foreign languages, regardless of whether they are located in Bosnia and Herzegovina or abroad,
  2. b) certificate from the faculty (on language proficiency test, foreign language exam passed during schooling), as well as another faculty document (certified copy of enrollment form/index) confirming language knowledge or proficiency, i.e. passed foreign language exams,
  3. c) a diploma or other document confirming the acquired title or profession directly related to knowledge of a foreign language (e.g. language teacher, language translator, assistant translator, etc.),
  4. d) a diploma from a completed university or an acquired scientific title in Bosnia and Herzegovina or abroad on the basis of which it can be unequivocally established that the same education was completed in its entirety or in a predominant part in a foreign language.

All documents issued abroad must be translated into one of the official languages of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by a certified court interpreter.

All documents attached to the application form as proof of fulfillment of the conditions from the Public Call should be originals or copies certified by the competent authority, not older than six months.

The costs for taking the professional exam for travel agency branch managers in the amount of 550.00 KM are paid in accordance with the Instruction that is an integral part of the Rulebook on the professional exam for travel agency branch managers ("Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH"; number: 46/20) and the Public Call.

How to submit an application

Submit the completed application form for the professional exam with the accompanying documentation to the address: "Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism - Examination Commission, Hamdije Čemerlića Street 2/III,

71 000 Sarajevo" with an indication: "According to the Public Invitation - "Application for taking the professional exam for the manager of a travel agency branch for the year 2025 - do not open"

On the back of the envelope, it is mandatory to state: the applicant's name and surname, address and contact telephone number.

Application deadline

Applications for the professional exam based on the Public Call are accepted until December 5, 2025., and the deadline for taking the professional exam is 15.12.2025. (Monday) at 4:00 p.m., in the Ministry's premises.

The public call with the Instructions will be published on the website of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
