HOW TO GET TO MOSTAR?

  • By car - Mostar is located at the intersection of important roads, and lies on the most important route E73 that connects Hungary with the Adriatic Sea. Mostar is located about 130 km south of Sarajevo and about 130 km from Dubrovnik. Keep in mind that the roads in BiH are not in the best condition and there are no dual carriageways, except on the outskirts of Sarajevo. When it comes to parking, you will have no problem finding it. There are two on the west side, next to the Old Bridge; one is 300 m away from the Bridge, and the other is next to the monastery in Franjevacka street.
  • By bus - Mostar is one of the most popular destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is very well connected with other cities in the country such as Sarajevo, Međugorje and Tuzla, but also with cities throughout Europe such as Dubrovnik, Split, Kotor, Podgorica and Belgrade.  https://mostarbus.ba/
  • By train – Mostar railway station is located near the East bus station, on Ivan Krndelj square. This route mainly follows the Neretva River and passes through Sarajevo, Konjic, Mostar and Ploče. The journey from Sarajevo to Mostar by train is famous for the beautiful nature that you have the opportunity to see along the way.

  • By plane – Mostar Airport was opened for civil air traffic in 1965, exclusively for domestic flights. In 1984, Mostar Airport was declared an alternative airport to Sarajevo International Airport during the Olympic Games, thus gaining the status of an international airport. Later, this new status was positively applied to the growing interest of domestic and international carriers in Mostar Airport, taking into account the fact that the village of Međugorje is a world-famous sanctuary, located only 20 km west of Mostar, and the air route is certainly the fastest and most efficient way of arrival.
