On Wednesday, March 5, the Director of the Mostar City Tourist Board Elvira Dilberović and the popular Bosnian and Herzegovinan performer Zejd Šoto signed a cooperation agreement by which the Tourist Board supports the concert organized as part of the ‘’Ramadan in Mostar’’ event. As previously emphasized, the Mostar City Tourist Board stated that this event has great tourism potential for Mostar, especially in the context of religious tourism.
‘’The cooperation with Zejd Šota and Mustafa Demirci represents another step towards strengthening the cultural and tourist identity of Mostar. The ‘’Ramadan in Mostar’’ event has been attracting visitors not only from Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also from other countries for the fourth year in a row, and shows the strength of Mostar as a cultural and spiritual destination. We are proud to be a part of this important event and hope that our city will continue to be a symbol of togetherness, tolerance and the beauty of tradition. This concert will certainly enrich Ramadan activities and contribute to the further affirmation of Mostar as one of the most important tourist centers in the region,” said Dilberović.
The concert, which will be held on March 7, will enrich the cultural, spiritual and social life of Mostar during the month of Ramadan, and the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy top-quality interpretations of ilahi and qasida.
“It is a great pleasure to be here, in Mostar, a city that is very important to me because a lot of things happened here in my life. I feel a responsibility towards the audience and this important event, and I must say that there are not many cities in our country that can boast of such a Ramadan program. It is also an honor to perform together with the orchestra and the Turkish artist Mustafa Demirci, a great master of Sufi and dervish music, the author of the most beautiful spiritual music of Muslims,” said Šoto.
As a reminder, the event ”Ramadan in Mostar” organized by the City of Mostar and with the support of the Tourist Board, is being held for the fourth year in a row, and will last until March 30, at various locations throughout the city.
